MADE A TRUNK KIT FOR THE RT/10 TODAY (PICS)

[WANTED]

i just couldn't stand that look in the trunk any longer, why dodge never made a
a trunk kit or anyone else for that matter is beyound me. i'm happy with what i
ended up with and might offer it to others. i own a building company and called
my flooring guys to see what they could come up with. we did make a template so
its possible to have more made.

top of fiberboard smooth, bottom has pad (no noise)

i really like this look better

I wanted a trunk mat for years.
I use the trunk space around the spare tire too. It holds alot of stuff in place.
How does one create a template?

VERY NICE - How bout a group buy (without the Vipertax).

Also, do you Gen 2 guys have the same manual rod to hold your trunk deck up or did Dodge add the trunk strut? I gotta say that the Trunk Strut in my Gen 1 is one of my most useful mods.

Did you let the fiberboard rest on the spare tire or did you build some rails for it to rest? Velcor to hold down the carpet?

Is it like a ship in a bottle......some trick to get it in.......how does it fit in there?
Carpet looks a little purpleish.
I would prefer a tighter knap or weave in the carpet.

well its sounds like many would like to do this so i will offer this to anyone
who is interested.

some notes - the carpet you see in the pics looks much better in person then
what the pictures showed however i am looking at different samples of carpet.
i am also looking to have the logo done like you see in baz's pic, different
color choices will be available. the template should work with the gts as well.
under the fiberboard you still have room to store things, the carpet and fiberboard
lift right out.

so how many really would like to get one? once i have a idea how many i will be
able to get a price. if i have them made i would prefer to do it all at once so
maybe you could ask your pres from your region to get a count and let everyone
know about the kit to get a real count.

START POSTING THE SOONER I GET A NUMBER THE SOONER I'LL HAVE THEM DONE.
