It looks better than a lot of cars and outperforms most cars but isn't "Viper" looking anymore. It will probably grow on me. For now, it made my decision to order the SRT-10 Ram (from Northwest Dodge) an easier one. Maybe down the road........

I'm disappointed with the styling of the SRT-10. After enthusiastically purchasing 4 Vipers over the years, I must sadly say thumbs down to the SRT-10.

The only outside appearance that has an AWE factor is from the back/side view.

I have to give it the thumbs down.

Double thumbs down..

If I didn't have a viper now and was shopping for a performance car, it would DEFINATLEY NOT be a viper. Performance , in my books is #2 next to STYLE... No matter how fast you make a car, it still looks like a mustang, vette, camaro..

SRT-10 would look great with a fart can muffler, flourescent lighting, wild graphics.. Then perhaps it would make the front page of Import Car magazine with the Eclipses, Honda S-2000's etc..

Thumbs down DC, I have NEVER seen a winner demolished like you guys did in 2003..

Thumbs down.

V10 and more power is good. Looks are very dull and outweigh the extra 50 ponies. My lack of enthusiasm for the 03 was exactly why I bought my '01. Like others, I'm voting with my wallet.

You can spot a genI or genII Viper from a mile away. This thing you look at from the front and say "Is that an S2000?" From the back you say "Is that some kind of new Mercedes?" Mr. Designer of the SRT10, go back to Toyota. THUMBS DOWN!!!!

Thumbs up on performance

Thumbs down on looks. That is one ugly car. I hope the '04 looks different, but the chance of that is near nill...

Overall Thumbs DOWN

Thumbs down. I debated for awhile, but just couldn't find the "oh wow" factor with the SRT-10. I had to have a new Viper, and am stuck on blue, so this spring went for the 01 Sapphire GTS, and am very happy I did.

THUMBS DOWN!
I am on my third Viper and am staying with it.
My plan was to buy the VGX when it came out until I saw it.
Ford will now likely get those $dollars$ as the GT-40 seems
to have the spirit I fell in love with in my Vipers.
It is nice to see the performance increased in the new "Viper" (the new logo is WAY cool, too) but my car is FASTER and much better looking.
Sorry DC....

I like everything but the looks. Its not a bad design..its just not exotic enough to be the new Viper. Performance yes...looks no.

I would say no to a new srt-10.

Down....down..down..to the ground.

God......I feel aweful.

I've got no future. I'll have to look for something else.

But my Gen 2 continues to draw a crowd. Probably always will.

Do not foresee selling it.

Simply put, the outrageous "big cajones" styling of the Gen I and II cars is absent in the SRT-10. Regardless, I'm strictly a GTS type so the new model isn't even a remote consideration for me.

In other words ..... thumbs down!

I remember the first time I saw it at Detroit Auto show,I was so excited making my way through the crowd to see 500-500-500. 500HP -500 ft/lbs and then I shed 500 tears of dissapointment.Thumbs down. What were they smoking when they came up with that body?

I have to say, a big thumbs down. They completely ruined the shape of the car. The **** outrageous lines are gone! Oh well I guess that'll just raise the value of the gen 2's
