Its the only "full proof" way to sell a car... Its a one way "pipeline". Once the money is in your account, release the car..

Cash or wire ONLY. If you take a certified check it could take 30 days to clear the issueing bank. It seems everybody want to pass fraudulent certified checks anymore.

Seems like many of the responese here aren't considering the buyers risk... I for one wouldn't wire $$ to someone's account unless I have the car sitting in my garage.

Most banks are national, just go down to the bank with the buyer and have them cut you a certified check right then and there.

This is a great thread. Just sold my supercharged SRT on EBAY to a guy in New Hampshire. I'm now trying to get ahold of him to arrange the payment details. The timing of this thread is great. Thanks to everyone who participated, its helped me alot.
