Just past Viper stuff from work, got the ok to share some pics. Here's GTS-R chassis #27 from our shop few years ago, we built the carbon fibre bodies for Oreca, intake, cooling ducts, wing, etc.. back then. Recently sold all of the original GTS-R body molds to a company in France and this car was also sold off the other year. Unfortunately we do not sell parts to the public.

EDIT: Or compare much to a STREET Viper!

Great pics Mike.

I could even see that the driver must use a Helmet radio because there's no Bluetooth stereo in the car, lol.

If I had a few hundred thou extra a look at the bottom of the car would help build one.

Is there an advantage to either chassis/suspension?

Not sure what the chassis dimensions are. Just a guess but I doubt there would be a huge difference in suspensions technology-wise, just design fit for the chassis. Probably if the CC weight could be dropped and the HP increased to match the GTSR I'd bet it would be a pretty tight race. CC might even have an edge with aerodynamics.

Good topic for discussion. Anybody willing to buy both and put them to the test? :)

Great pics, that car is the only reason I got my FE #004.

What is the part on the front suspension that runs from tire to tire along the top and front of the engine bay?

My question also. I found it interesing on the 93 Viper and the AutoArt models I have all have the rear tow point above the lower rear facia. Must have made it much easier to pull them from the rear. I'm sure it is alot less expensive to do that loop the way all the kits are today. (under the rear facia-2 bolts thru the frame rail) Anyone ever have their Viper pulled from the rear using the newer loops, and was there any problem using the lower eye loop?

I can find out about the headers (we don't make headers) Chuck, and get some pics of the bare chassis Ted. The suspension cross car tube is a race style ARB / Anti Roll Bar setup.

Here's some old pics of the actual bare carbon fibre GTS-R parts from our shop, ducts for Mopar etc. For those not aware, the race GTS-R body is full carbon fibre along with a highly modified non-stock chassis. Lola was involved wtih building / supplying some molds for the GTS-R back then.

I can look into what info I can share from work... who built / helped design the first Comp Coupe prototype for Chrysler.

Heres a dyno graph of a GTSR. A dyno graph back to back with my 97 GTS when it got its first tune with the mods over at DC Performance. Keep in mind this wasn't the factory "works" GTSR..
