I guess all the southern owners will have to wait for our copy a bit longer

Hopefully it will be here soon as well! Is it basically the same as the commercial, obviously a bit longer?
Thanks

Just got our VCA membership copy last night. As I pulled it out of the envelope and showed it to my wife, she made a face like "Oh boy, just what we need, another one to turn up the volume on and shake the living room walls with!" We got the DVD before we even get our '01 membership badges, the VCA knows what matters most. HA! I love that DVD, this one stays wrapped up, and saved for posterity. You really have to be a Viper owner to savor it. It sure makes you want to see the crappy winter weather go away so you can get the ol Snake out of the garage and go on your own "Magic Carpet Ride" !

The case for it is pretty cool! I personally like the longer version of the commercial. Great stuff!!

Roy,
I don't think it is copy protected at all. It has a great sound track, and when I play it here at home, the walls shske and the windows rattle.

The magic Carpet Ride DVD showed up in the mail today (sat).
I bought a copy of the DVD at VOI6 so now I have 2, the only bad thing is I don't own a DVD player yet.

I've watched it on my brother in laws computer and my brothers DVD player, it's a Very Cool DVD.

I think it's time enter the new millenium and break down and buy a DVD player.

Now if I can only figure out which brand is a good one to buy.

Rich, you should be able to find a good one for under $300 now. I stick with pioneer as it has always been good to me. Prices have come waaaaaay down. Some for under $200, but those are the ones that dont have "brand name" recognition for being quality products. I would suggest pioneer or sony and you cant go wrong! Good luck in your search.
