It's a lot like running a prepped Viper around a road coarse, with less money invested. I'm going to try and get some GOOD video next winter. I have a bunch of decent car, sled and Viper videos here ...

If you drive a Viper then yes, you'd love a big snowmobile. I rode a Ninja ZX11 and a couple GSXR 1100s until my second crash (not my fault) and decided to use the insurance money to buy fun, without the drunkdriver risks and the snowmobile comes with a soft landing. I've bounced off my sled at 90+mph twice and no injuries!!! Besides, I live in the mountains and can drive my sled to the neighbor's, restaurant or Poast Office if I want (trails). Viper never moves between Nov and Apr 1. A few friends and I went sledding second weekend of June 1 year. Waterskipping was required because the frozen lakes and rivers have a few feet of water on the ice by afternoon. Spring sleddin' requires waterskippin skills.

No bad experience personally. My father was very close to a lot of people on the hendrick flight crash. I've been in some helicopters and done ok. Just not real crazy about it. I think it's the control factor, not having any.
