Who all from the Houston area will be there? Let's get a count and see if they can pit us together. It was great last year, and hopefully will be even better this year.
If you are looking for a sticky street legal tire I have already suggested the Mickey Thompson Drag Radial. 345/35/18 but you will need to run the emergency brake cable relocation brackets to fit the 18's on the car. The stock transmission will handle it as long as you are not "side stepping"...
Get the new Mickey Thompson 345/35/18 and put the emergency brake cable relocation brackets on the car to clear 18" rims. This will allow you to get the traction you need, even on a poorly prepped track it will do good.
I don't like these tires on the street even tho I have been running...
Changing the shifter out from the bottom is easier, you just remove the belly pan, put a jack under the transmission and take of the mount. Lower the transmission and you can remove the shifter (after you have taken the handle off)
You can not access all of the bolts from the top unless you...
I received an email this weekend basically saying that they are still finalizing the details.
Fastlane is at:

QUOTE=FLATOUT;2720702]OK just sent an email to the Houston VCA Gmail account as I would like to start attending events in the...
I do drive mine and track it even more. I am very happy with the KW's and I have an 06 with Motons to compare it to. The 06 rides better, but due to the spring rates, I like the feel on track of the KW combination from the factory better.
My ACR came full loose front and back, it is an 08. From what Lee has said, I would say there is no consistency between cars which surprises me.
anyway, you do not need a lift to make these adjustments but it is easier. A simple floor jack and a slight lifting of each side of the car and...
dot 4 is better no doubt, but it will not cause the issue people are having. On almost every case the car is a very low mileage (under 500 mi) and has not been driven hard. The difference between dot 3 and 4 in this case is not the issue. However, changing to the Dot 4 will necessitate a...
That is exactly what I am saying. If you cycle your clutch at least 15 times, my guess you will have a good pedal feel again. I do believe it is best to bleed it however.
Kevan's DIY is good, but the viper is much harder to access the bleed screw. I actually cut an 11mm socket in half...
The bleed screw is an 11mm fitting on the driver side of the transmission. It is located next to the stainless steel line that comes from the clutch master cylinder. So find the line going to the transmission and you should find the bleeder.
Most times repetitive cycling of the clutch pedal...
I get a tremendous benefit from reading the general forums and the responses by the vendors in said sections. I have never been bothered by the "free advertising" some of them give themselves because they help so much. I have been unable to find a true technical forum for Vipers, and the...
Tony, great pics as always. I love the Caliper reflection in the lips of the wheels, looks very cool. You willing to do some photo shoots of my rides? Let me know, btw having a gtg next weekend if you are interested on Sunday
Yes it is! You will not build full boost and you will possibly loose more and more boost as the valve will not seal without the oring in the correct place. Disassemble the valve and reinstall the oring. Really pretty easy to do
Jon is the man, as others have said, He is great to deal with. Consistently he ships product when and how he says. Great prices, great technical advise and a great person to deal with. Thanks for all of your help Jon!

I had a great experience getting my Simpson CF helmet, ESS fire suppression system, cool suit and a few other items from SafeRacer. Shipped when they said how they said and they were competitive. I know it is frustrating if the price was advertised but they always reserve the right to the...
For Gen IV cars, from my understanding they do throw codes. If you plan to go with the Mopar PCM than it won't matter as the code is for rear O2. The Mopar PCM will cure this issue, other wise you have to live with the light or take the bulb out. I am not recommending, nor condoning any of...
