Just got from the shop. Cam is installed and springs are in place. They were tightening the roller rockers. Still looks to be on schedule for dyno tomorrow. Just gotta get the tune from roe racing early tomorrow morning.- Twister

Anyone know this 03 viper?
Where the hell is the snakehead logo on the front? Now possible its got history. Not many people just take it off. Always funny whenpeople spend thousands on repaint ect just to not spend 75 bucks on a new snake head and spend two minutes sticking it on the front.- Twister

Just got from the shop. They are moving along quickly! They will begin heat cycles tomorrow. I told them about tne tune and they said as long as I can get in on Monday that we can afr dyno as scheduled.- Twister

Vid of comp coupe cam on my 03

Roe racing ported heads and 710 cam plus sct tune????
Heres a qick vid of the competition coup camshaft. Gave me 7 rwhp and 12 rwt peak hp but 20 rwhp and 25 rwt through the rpm range. Was about 2 mph faster through the quarter mile with this than the stock camshaft http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCTfFjxNUXY- Twister

He went from 460 to 585 rwhp. Thts a 125 rwhp gain. The compression and very mild head work would be at the most 50-70 of that gain wouldnt you say?- Twister

Welcome to the family. Adding a air intake and straight pipeing your cats is a good way to gain a cheap reliable 25 hp. If you want a lot more I saw some ported gen2 heads in the for sale section. Probally an easy 40 plus hp to be gained from them. Your a very lucky guy. Just think...- Twister

What's an 08 Viper with 48,000 miles worth?
Only way a 08 is selling for 49k or less is with 75k miles or more. Looking at ebay represents the low of the low. Their are still 35k plus mile 06 coupes selling for high 40s. As far as someone listing at 52k and not having a sale. Thats one persons experience. 18 months ago people here...- Twister

You wernt spot on anything tucker. Like I said you are one of the main ones belittling our cars value. You can see nine 08 vipers sell for 57-65k And then see one sell for 53k. You will then post up and say you can get clean title 08s with low miles for low 50s all day.- Twister

To me thats a realistic price point. Nineball hit it on the head. Viper owners kill their own vehecle pricing. I think this goes back to the gen1 and gen2 days. Nineball was talking about guys like you tucker. Kinda funny you agree with him. Your the main one always giving off lowball prices. My buddy got 50k 6 months ago for a 35k mile 04. Plenty of people spending over 60k for 08s. But youd be the one saying 45k for his 08- Twister

Low milage is anything under 30k to mebuyhey these vipers are 300k mercy lambo equivalent I guess so canthave miles on em. yea just wait a few years and have the whole car repainted. I did a 2k paint job on a 99 rt10. just the same color red. good quality shop for an amazeing price. car looked brand new when they were done. cheaper to find a shop and have the complete car repainted then going crazy over these...- Twister
