stk fuel system will handle 600-625 pretty safe anymore than that and you are taking chances. Lots of methods to increase fuel for higher hp, adding a second pump in the tank is the easist.
hey you have the same machine I do, I have an old guy chart 360 also, was the best machine made for a long time, only drawback is that its too far off the ground! But it will pull a truck in half!!
sandblast? no wonder, They just could have ground the crack out, cure the area under a heat lamp for 24 hrs and re-resin with SMC repair and it will be fine.
It would not, unless carfax made a mistake and they do all the time. Call that states DMV and give them the vin # to find out the histroy. Carfax is NOT a very reliable source of information, they are only a guide. The owner of this car should dispute the report with carfax, but they will not...
You will never see a clean title, under 50K mile viper for less than $20K. They prices are about as low as they are going to get. I also would not expect them to rise much for the next 5-10 years. They will have to be 35-40 years old to really be a collectable
I have taken an bunch of these apart and never once glue them back in. I would agree it is a fire hazard and they do not rattle if you form them around the exhaust
yes and no, it may be safer and give more margin for error with a lower compression motor, but off boost its much harder to trim the A/F and keep the car from running too rich and going thru plugs.
you will be fine using the programs sent with 95 octane. Its when you go down in octane that you have to be careful. You may be short a little Hp as you could increase the timing with the higher octane, but dont try this until you have a wide band on the car.
It used to be there, I guess with the upgrade it was dropped. I also was a member for two years and been on this board since 2001 (at least I paid my dues for two years) Never received one mag, never was invited for one event (other that the trek to Tators, but only because I know Chuck)...
painting stipes on this hood is a beatch. It took 2 days just to lay them out. Maybe why he didnt try, but I know the gen2 have the stripe cut around the naca duct if that is what he did with yours, he may have been just duplicating what he saw on other vipers.
that is what I was thinking, depending on where you got your gas, they have differant additives. I wouldnt worry too much about it. IT just looks like the car could be tuned a little leaner on most the cylinders, but if its driving ok I would leave it alone.
#3 runing a little leaner than all, #2 are not quite as lean as #3, how long have those plugs been in the car? Are you having any running issues? Non look that bad, I like to see them look more like #3 than #9. You should be running hot enough to burn the deposits off the porcelain. not sure...
