    Re: New owner... Two ?\'s -- Idle speed and Remote Programming Look at your guage again. The large hash mark left of the 0 is the 500 mark. Your car is idling at 700 rpm's. Analyze the hash marks between the 1000 to 2000 rpm section.

    02 Porsche Turbo or SRT-10

    If you don't have small children and can give up the backseat, go w/ srt-10. I may go w/ the turbo since I have a 15mo old daughter. Nice to take whole family for a drive. I'll keep the 96gts for canyon blasts. If it's just you and the wife, definitely go w/ the baddest convertible available...

    California Insurance costs

    I pay approx $1200/yr for a 96gts w/ state farm. This includes ALL discounts one can get. They also quoted me $1800/yr for the srt-10, said it was in a different category than the gts. Does this sound correct? BTW-age 44

    luv2race2, The fit or the bra is fine, but how much pressure do you use to close the hood? The bra doesn't allow the hood to close. Maybe, I can come by to see yours to see if there are any differences?

    No, could not get hood to close. And this was w/ only the fascia portion on, did not even try the hood portion. Combination of retaining straps and bra material preventing front part of hood to latch. Avioded what I thought would be excessive force. I think I'll go the stongard/clear bra route.

    A different tranny lube specified and will quiet it down. Talk to your viper tech for new lube specs.

    Joe states ENGINES built between Jan and March are involved. How does engine build date correlate w/ car build date? Could an engine have been manufactured weeks(therefore it has proper valves) before car build date? I suspect engines were being built as the cars were not due to the heat delay...

    Help....Installing front end cover(ie bra)........

    ...every went well except the hood will not close. It seems that the top portion on the front fascia where it meets the leading edge of the hood is very tight w/ bra on( the bra material/Straps are being pinched).I'm avoiding using excessive force to close hood. Anybody else have this problem...
