    Take those claims with a grain of salt. The one for the GTS was supposed to yield 18.7HP. For me it was about 5-10HP. Did the Corsa on two different GTSs with very similar results. I'll bet the same is true for this one. However, I'm still interested.

    Re: I\'d suggest you go try to start your snake right now..... I'd say that's definitely a low battery. The battery pulls in the solenoid, finds it hasn't the energy to turn over the motor causing the voltage to drop, disengages the solenoid, voltage goes up, then does it again.

    I think it's an attempt by GM to steal the instant front end distance recognition factor from Viper. Kinda like what they did with the H2 vs. Jeep. Now you have to look twice to determine if it's a rare car or dime a dozen. I still think Lutz is a whore.

    I'm interested in at least trying to get one free or see if I can get on the "list". And, it makes absolutely no difference who wants one or why. Everyone gets their kicks the way they want. That's why restaurants have menus.

    Something that I cannot understand about the C&D results: --- the GT is quicker to 60, therefore leading the SRT, --- but at the 1/4, the SRT is leading BUT at a SLOWER speed. This means that somewhere along the way, the SRT took the lead, but at the 1/4, it is in the process of losing...

    I still have the problem with it hitting the pillar, and REAL loud when it does. If I pull down on the door when closing, it doesn't hit. Certainly don't want anyone taking off the door panel, because you all know it will never go on the same again --- for some reason mechanics won't replace...

    I went through their web site and got a quote for just over $1000 for my 03 SRT. Insured for $70,000. No big saving there --- in fact, costs more than State Farm. I was expecting much bigger shavings.

    Trust the fact that DC says they will not have the Viper outshown --- Comp Coupe --- SEMA --- it's all pointing in one direction. I believe the only thing to stop them from a street coupe is company profitability. Put me on the list --- #5.
