Do a search and discover the cross drilled rotors that crack at the drilled holes.

What do you mean "custom" engine mounts? Something made from a material other than sponge rubber. I replaced mine a couple years ago, and at the time was looking for a "HARD" rubber or neoprene material, but nothing was available.

What year is your Viper? You may not need to use the device, just unplug and tape the ends to seal against crud.
I'm not sure what years will set a code, but mine has been unplugged for 6 years, and no problems. (1996 RT/10)

The video camera looks OK, and since you have a early Viper (Gen 1), you might be interested in the mount I built for mine. It is on the dash, so has the advantage (in my opinion) of 'being up front', so the picture taken is out front.
