because not everyone is this guy:
I don't think it's that big of a deal to not want the ACR with crazy paint and black wheels. Even with mono-tone paint and non-black wheels it will still kick ass on the track.
That doesn't make any sense. You are discounting the majority of interactions of all companies then, as there are very few vipers compared to all other cars on the road. I hope you aren't in charge of anything to do with statistical analysis.
To make it fair you should be able to put Slicks on the ACR and do a comparison. If it pulls 1.5Gs on street tires it would pull a lot more with slicks. The CC pulls a lot more then 1.25 Gs in high speed corners. My evo with RA1s can do that or more.
Wow, some of you guys really have no idea what you are talking about. All the changes are great for track cars. 600HP is more then enough for track car and it does lose some 40lbs of unsprung weight. The old ACR gained 10HP...wuppedy f-in doo. Calling an adjustable wing and splitter that...
You don't need anything to do most track days. Some groups will want roll bars, etc, but most don't. I would recommend track days, but be aware you may develop what can't only be described a serious addiction problem and your money will be gone, but it's worth it! It can be a very, very...
I will be at PIR next Friday with these guys:

TC wants roll bars or hoops above your and the instructor's head. ProDrive and BMW club (I know for sure) don't care.
ProDrive
BMW Club
Alfa Club
There are a ton of them. That doesn't even count PR (Pacific...
Re: Have a SRT 10 Coupe...thinking of getting daily driver/ road race car..
I enjoy my evo. It's a great all around car. The after market is pretty amazing as the engine and drive train have been around forever. The car is pretty quick out of the box with less under steer then the STI.
It's not about expectations it's a fact they are discounted many places heavily. Expectations are driven by the market. People expect them to be discounted everywhere because you can find them heavily discounted in many places. Any dealer trying to get rid of their viper without discounting...
Defined whooped? 1/4 mile? street racing? road racing? If it is street racing or 1/4 mile I could care less. The big NA engine in the viper will be great for doing lots of lapping days. I like the direction of the new viper.
Variable valve timing has nothing to do with cars having less torque then HP. It has been used mostly, in the past on small engines allowing them to at least make some torque on the bottom end and still make high HP at faster engine speeds. VVT will always result into better use of the engine...
Most credit unions now offer 84 months and if you have a good credit score you should get the same rate as 60 or 72 months. I did this exact thing on a different car. I go through a credit union here in Oregon and if you score is high enough (mine is like 780) you get the same rate for any...
yeah, the driver in the viper drove about twice as far as the Z4. He wasn't even close to the line on most corners. I have no idea what was going on....
Like I said I thought there was at one GM engine with it, but it sounds like maybe there are two. But, putting it on a 3.X liter V6 is a lot different then putting it on a 8.4 liter high end engine. Also, does Dodge actually have any experience putting using VVT on pushrod engines? So they...
