I have some fairly severe curb rash on one of my rear wheels. I’m looking for a replacement that’s in good shape without any scuffs or scratches.
Does anyone here have a rear rim that they would be willing to sell?
Thanks in advance
Re: Seat belts/Harness
If anyone is interested, I have a set of TeamTech 6 point harnesses for sale for $250. Use two track days. They are silver with black padding and red tabs (perfect condition). I purchased them new from partsrack.
I have the 2" kit for both the drver and passenger seats that I will let go of for $150 for both seats. The 2" will fit over the amp on the passenger side, while the 1" adjustable won't.
I have the corsa with random tech hi flow cats on my 2005. I think the car sounds like a$$. too me, it sounds like cross between the UPS truck and a forklift on steroids, when driving around town.
I have yet to meet anyone that likes the way my car sounds except at WOT.
I would love to tone it...
I have the 2" lowering kit for both the Driver and Passenger seats. I’ll let them go $200 for both if anyone is interested.
I tried the 1" and 2" and prefer the 1". The 1" kit will not fit over the AMP on the passenger seat, while the 2" clears it fine.
Re: Beware 2
I lost quit a bit of leg room with the Northwind 2" kit. My seat is 3" from the bulkhead as well. I had so much spare room that I was able to tighten the rear mounting bolts with an electric impact wrench when putting my seat back in.
Anyone have some tried a true specs for street and occasional road course? I ran my car last month at the Brian Angen Memorial event at T-hill. I found out later when I got home that I was running on the outside edges of my Pilot Cups. The tires didn't even clean-up in the inner middle, after a...
What PSI did you run the Cups at front/back cold? I tried 34psi all around on mine and the Cups held great for around 3 3 mile laps, then they seemed to get progressively greasy and slick as my session progressed. I noticed when swapping the tires off that I was running on the outside edges of...
How do you pay $20,665 in taxes on a 85K car? That's a 24% tax rate. I never heard of sales tax being anywhere neer that high. Did you win the car at a casino or something?
Re: Drag Radials on SRT-10\'s?
I have Pilot Cups on my SSR's. They hook really good as well.
Thanks for posting the pic of the relocation blocks installed. I tried to figure it out and ended up using zip ties to hold the cables out of the way. It would have been nice if they included more than...
Update:
I just got the car back from the dealer. They couldn't find anything wrong with it. They ran it to 140mph on the rack with no load and said everything was perfect. I know better, but I can't prove it to them unless I take them for a ride on an unsafe and heavily monitored highway...
Thanks for the responses. I'm in Nor-Cal and it's been fairly warm. I can duplicate the problem only after a couple of high speed runs. The car is fine around town, otherwise. I noticed the faint smell of clutch on my last 3rd gear blast.
I am taking in to the dealer tomorrow. I'm just not sure...
I have about 1000 miles on the clock and recently found out that the car won't shift above 5000 rpm's from 3-4 or 4-3 about 50% of the time. The symptom appears after 2-3 spirited runs, otherwise it's fine. It shifts out of gear just fine, but there's no gear to be found at higher rpm's. I...
I have the Corsa Track and Random Tech CATS on order, but they won't be here in time for this Friday's event. I guess if it turns brown, I can alway's have the dealer paint or replace it. Being a new Viper owner, I just wanted to make sure the car won't catch fire.
I recently burnt my leg getting out of the car after some spirited driving. I also noticed an odd smell like burning paint. Is this normal for a 2005 with stock exhaust and 700 miles on the clock? The sill temp has been very mild until this last week. My only mod is a K&N.
I know that...
Based on the information in this post, I just had new tire sensors installed on my track rims. They did not need to be reprogrammed.
Swapping tires back and forth did not require a relearn.
