Geeez! Bonehead maneuver. If you can't control the back end of your Gen II on acceleration by now ... what with alllll the warnings and discussion on that subject then turn your viper in for re-use by someone who deserves it.
Does anyone else think his cranium looks too small for his body?
Step up and tell us who yanked the Snake Pit posts today Officers? I'll say straight out that I suspect it was Tony Estes. I saw him on the board right around the time the "Who Deleted the Smack King" thread disappeared. He and Michael Pierce were the only mod-empowered folks there. And I...

I cure them too and after that they last about 16 heat cycles. For me that's two track weekends where you get about 4 run sessions per day. After that I've still got rubber, but they're greasy and feel about like hot Pilot Sports.
I've never cured them...
Agree with Rug Doctor. I had the same problems with my '95 until I put in the '99 fan module. No problems after that. I hassled with the whold 'burping' thing prior to that and it had no effect. The '99 fan cured it.
I've had two post-99 cars since then and they both run cool as a cucumber.

I have a set of Purner's custom wheels that I'd like to sell. 17 inchers. 12" fronts and 13" rears. They've got Hoosier scrubs on em right now ... 315s in the front and 335 rears.
These wheels fit genII cars up through '00. Asking $2500 for wheels and tires. Hey I'm a huckster now...
What kind of pyrometer temps are you guys seeing? I haven't gone that route yet, but I know the tire air temp was hot as hell right after a run. I was seeing 40-42 psi hot and decided that was too much so I went to let some out using the tip of the valve stem cap and that d@mn air comin outta...
I bet you don't yell like that when you're peeking over the hedge into Pamela Anderson's pool area.
Now grab the comb-over with one hand, yank back hard til your trap opens wide, squeeze in a whole tube of jowl-tightener cream and EXECute a flying f*** at a rolling doughnut!
Can anyone say Uber-Dork? This guy infested Off Topic a while back and to this day still holds the "Most Obnoxious And Rapidly Flamed" award.
His ego prevents him from speaking in anything less than his huckster executive's bellow.

V10 and more power is good. Looks are very dull and outweigh the extra 50 ponies. My lack of enthusiasm for the 03 was exactly why I bought my '01. Like others, I'm voting with my wallet.

Yeah, I know they suck and they're archaic, but I've got a pair of sticker 335s for the rears just languishing in the garage and I don't wanna let em go to waste. I'm running Purner custom track wheels hence the huge 315 front tires that I need.
I'm having a hell of a time finding these...
Sean,
My real concern about your S/C is the extra heat in a road-race application. Since it's a roots blower there's no possibility for intercooling and I'm concerned about added underhood heat and fuel/air heating under the stress of 45 minutes of WOT on a hot Texas summer day. Know what I'm...

It will be mine ... Oh YES, it will be mine! You are the MAN!! And for the price of a Viper exhaust system.
You keep that price down there in the reasonable realm and I and many others will come. What I mean is we'll come and buy it

That's exactly what I found at TWS. A 5 sec improvement in my '95 going from XGTZs (ugghh) to Hoosiers. Now the new Pilot Sports are soooo much better than the old crapola XGTZs that I wonder about that level of difference between them and Hoosiers. I'm guessing more like 2-3 sec. I'm...
