Re: What aftermarket seats work well in GenI\'s?
I think its easier to get brackets for mounting the Sparco seats.
However, I went with Suzuka seats. They are made from kevlar not fiberglass and for about the same price as the Sparco seats.
The down side was finding someone to make custom...
I'm going to try and make this one. Its a 99% for sure at this point, subject to last minute changes and diversions of course.
Looking forward to meeting a few new guys and visiting with some old ones (you know who you are).
There are also 4 push in plastic clips under the front lip. Not easily seen. Get a good flash light and look under front of the facia two are almost under the hood latched the other two are near the center.
Disclaimer: The above is the way my 94 has them it may be different on others I'm not...
Just a suggestion. http://www.crystaltech.com
I have been using these guys since their days in a garage and they have not let me down.
From me, that's a strong recommendation.

I wasn't overly nosey about the performance mods but think it was fairly stock.
He does have the best cage I've seen in a Viper. (and I've seen some real nice ones)
I'm planning on going back in Sept. anyone want to join me?
I've heard similar three out of three times that I called. I too am searching for alternative methods of acquisition. I DO NOT like being shuffled off and put on hold, not EVERY time, come on get real. Others don't do that and they have fantastic businesses. Just a little friendly input from a...
Yep, you're right. It didn't fit in mine either. I had to take a grinder to the middle hole grind it out and monkey around a lot to get it to even install. The best I can offer is that at least the original bulkhead piece is still entact.
I'm guessing he's calling out a few posers. You may have 1300HP but if you don't track the car, what's the point? You can't be fast sitting in the driveway. So by those standards he's da man, albeit da "Hogman".
Hi Marv, although I personally didn't bump up against my 165 tech speed, it wasn't from lack of HP simply didn't know the calibration of my speedo and had no gps.
I do have knowledge of one individual (to remain nameless) in a viper (NOT a yellow one ;) ) that can produce a pic of 184 mph on...
Just curious what to use to avoid harming the clear coat.
Does anyone have suggestions of how best to remove the sticky stuff left behind when the tape is removed.
Yes I know, you wonder why I have duct tape residue. Its a long story.
Thanks in advance.
I'm gonna re-do my decal to say "Venom 1000TT". It's just that easy. Besides, what's written on the outside has little to do with whats on the inside.
Sure, hey I noticed you are close by after my reply. I gave a guy a ride a few months ago and was wondering if you were he? I think he worked at Guidant.
I'm off to the Silver State this Friday so I'll be out of town but soon as I return lets give it a shot. Warning though I have racing seats...
Jason, after what has happened last week with the grandmother in Santa Ana and today with the 18yo in Ontario. Is it any wonder?
Come on up we have drag racing at the California speedway for serious racing. Its getting bigger all the time. I don't see why anyone would want to "race" on public...
