I am getting ready to do the same here.
As for the weight, I have made Aluminum Hats that include the required spacer thickness and will be using two piece rotors.
No more spacers! Still need to use Dave's ET Nuts.
Waiting for the rotors to show up (custom ordered)
I would love to STOP by, but I'll be on a planed vacation, family reunion ! :usa2:
Have a great day! Remember the Man for the good he has done! :2tu:
I do wish I could be there. :(
Ted,
Your right about the HP concern.
I have instructed at Viper Days for several years now, I learned right away that women listen, most men think they can handle the power and find out the hard way they need to listen.
I have put my two daughters and several of my nieces behind the...
I had a similar experience,
My wife and I went to an Out Back Steak House and our waitress noticed I had a Viper Club Shirt on and said, “Don’t tell me you have a Viper”. The Viper is my dream car, “I have always dreamed of going for a ride in one” BlaBlaBla.
When she finally settled down...
I have an idea,
Stop looking at your self in the mirror and look around at the rest of the world. :eater::lmao:
Relax, Vic is right, they don't want you to see them looking.:2tu:
After I switched from BM3's to Porterfields I tryed BM3's again.
I'm sure some track rat's like BM3's but I won't use them again. I push hard and found the Porterfield R4's hold up much better.
Maybe just my driving style?

I needed tires for my 99 GTS. I had John Archer mount PS2's. First drive was around the track at speed and with no doubt these tires are far better than the old Sport Cup's.
These are street tire's. Kumo's, I would think are more of a track tire.
Do not mix your tires types!:nono:
If you want the most out of your belts, 5 or 6 point, you would need to change the seat to a race seat that has a hole cut for the sub belt to come thru the seat close to your crotch.
I do have a set of older style Team Tech five point belts I use in my 99 GTS for track days. First, I must...
:dunno: So, I guess my question is why look for 5 points if 6 points are better?
I think your 99 GTS has only one threaded insert in the floor for a five point.
I am sure you can add two new one's, if you wish.
I don't see any advantage to six point. JMHO :teeter:
If its a rod bearing it will knock each revolution. If its a valve it will tap every other rotation of the crank. See if Napa has a mechanics stethoscope. Try to locate the problem before tearing into the engine.
Sled, you can have the CC. The ACR comes with Brian's wife. I'll take it from here:).
We'll wave as we go by!:headbang:
So Brian, Are thinking of changing your mind? You need to get the car anyway. If it rains we'll just camp out and relax.
We can put some easy miles on the car and when were...
Not in my Viper :dunno:, but still a good race. The video is taken from a Porsche 928, front engine V-8.
I am racing my Silver and Blue Panoz GTS :usa:. You will see a Comp Coupe on the front row 2.10 into the video.
